Social  Road ride – Saturday 8th March 8:30am

We are holding our second social ride this weekend Saturday 8th March at the corner of Kerferd Rd and Beaconsfield Pde (the usual meeting place) at 8:30am for a roll on down to Mordialloc.
As was the case last week, mountain bike riders, single speeds, fixies, downhillers etc and anyone else is welcome, and there is provision to turn home earlier than Mordiallic if needed. This ride is a great way to meet some friendly people, enjoy a coffee and ride!

Inaugural Two Bays ITT Round 1 – Event Report

The ride saw 14 heady MUcyc riders leave Port Melbourne for 120+km of idyllic riding. The stretch between Port Melbourne and Mordialloc was strewn with traffic, bike and car alike and so the pace was inconsistent. Once the peloton made it past Mordialloc the pace settled and the riders got into a comfortable rhythm. The arrival in Mt Eliza marked the 1st official MUcyc Two Bays ITT. All riders pushed hard as respectable times were recorded across the board. Billy Rebakis stormed home on the false flat section at the top to record the overall best time winning himself a delicious PRO4 Energy Bar for the ride home (see pic below) courtesy of MUcyc and Borsari Cycles. A great ride from all and we hope to see everyone and more at the next instalment coming soon.
