gday i go to rmit but love xc riding. do you have any good tracks that are more technical? where bouts is this hill?
cheers
crocky
I don’t think this Hill is in Victoria.
If you want something heartbreak hard then try the Commonwealth games XC course in Lysterfield.
If you want something technical go ride along the yarra river in Kew it starts at fairfield boathouse over the pipeline bridge. It’s very narrow and close to waters edge. All the way to walmer st in kew…there’s a tricky downhill section it starts at the studley park rd one way exit lane
This hill is the back side of the geisberg, and it’s in salzburg. It’s the steepest mountain I’ve ever climbed, but I thought this downhill looked like fun.
hi,
Ive just moved to melbourne from the UK and am really into my mountain biking. I used to get out on my bike a couple of times a week, and was wondering if there are any decent trails within spitting distance of the city?
laura, go to Fairfield Boathouse and cross pipe bridge, go hard right and back under pipe bridge for sweet single trail, you can then continue for another 20kms of trials. OR if you go left (rather than under pipe bridge) you have some rocky single track quite technical, takes you to Kew Boathouse and beyond following yarra river, let me know if you want a tour. Cheers,.
hi. was wondering if anyone else races DH here? toby.
Gday just wondering if you ever do casual training rides (mtb) around north richmond area, but any place along the yarra is cool. And i was just wondering if anyone could email me the details about your races, cheers.
Hi I am new to melbourne and was looking for some new xc places to ride. I have ridden lysterfield and Youyangs. Are there any places closer to the city?
